Windows 10 brings by using it a lot of additional features, apps, changes, and customization options. Among those changes may be the inclusion of the new library folder called 3D Objects within the File Explorer. You can observe the 3D Objects folder within the "This PC" screen and underneath the "This PC" tree appearing around the left sidebar in File Explorer.
The 3D Objects folder can be used by Windows 10 in order to save the 3D object files created or download by the Paint 3D, Print 3D, or 3D viewer apps. When not using these apps, the 3D Objects folder is nothing but a total waste of space within the File Explorer. If you wish to clear the File Explorer and same some real estate, it is simple to remove 3D objects folder from appearing in File Explorer on Windows 10.
Obviously, if you are not using Paint 3D, Print 3D, or 3d Viewer apps, you can easily uninstall these store apps.
Remove 3D Objects Folder From File Explorer
To get rid of 3D Objects folder on Windows 10, you need to edit the Registry. Before doing that, please backup registry because it can help you restore it when something bad happens. That being said, just stick to the steps shown below as is and you should be good.
Open the beginning menu
Search for "regedit" and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Go towards the following key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace
Under NameSpace key, find 0DB7E03F-FC29-4DC6-9020-FF41B59E513A and right-click on it.
Select the "Delete" option.
Click around the "Yes" button to confirm.
Must follow additional steps for 64-bit users (32-bit users can ignore below steps):
Go to the following location. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace
Under NameSpace key, find 0DB7E03F-FC29-4DC6-9020-FF41B59E513A and right-click onto it.
Choose the "Delete" option.
Click on the "Yes" button to verify.
That's it. The changes are instant. Should you open the File Explorer now, you will not begin to see the 3D Objects folder. If you're not seeing the changes instantly, restart Windows or sign out and register to see the alterations.
Restore 3D Objects Folder If needed
By using the above mentioned steps, you are just preventing 3D Objects folder from appearing in the File Explorer's "This PC" screen and sidebar tree. If you wish to, you can access the 3D Objects folder by visiting "C:\Users\username\3D Objects". However, if you want the convenience of accessing the 3D Objects folder in the "This PC" screen then follow the below steps to restore 3D Objects folder in File Explorer.
Since we've deleted the keys related to 3D Objects folder in the Registry Editor, we have to recreate them. To create things easier for you, I've created downloadable reg files that the job for you.
Depending on your system architecture. i.e, 32-bit or 64-bit, download the reg file while using below link. If you wish to, you are able to open the downloaded reg file with Notepad to see what keys you are adding.
32-bit users - download this reg file. 64-bit users - download this reg file.
After downloading, extract the reg file for your desktop, right-click around the file and choose "Merge". In the subsequent confirmation windows, click "Yes" to continue.
That is it. You will notice the 3D Objects folder re-appear within the File Explorer. Otherwise, restart the body also it should appear.

With Windows 10, Microsoft managed to get simple to quickly refresh or reset pc with only a few clicks. You can easily reset or refresh Windows 10 computer by opening the Settings app and going to "Update and Security -> Recovery" and pressing the "Get started" button under Reset this PC section. Alternatively, you can also reset PC from command prompt when needed. Basically, you issue just one command and Windows will begin the reset process. The advantage of this approach is you do not have to search through menus to obtain the reset or refresh option.
Now, you may be wondering, what's the difference between Refresh and Reset choices on Windows 10. It's very simple actually.
Refresh PC: When you refresh a Windows 10 PC, Windows will refresh and/or replace all system files. Refreshing your personal computer doesn't remove your individual files. However, Windows will uninstall all applications except those that come pre-installed, like the built-in store apps.
Reset PC: Resetting is the more aggressive version of Refresh. That's, resetting a PC removes all installed applications as well as your personal files located in the Windows installation drive. i.e, C drive. Windows will not touch your files in other drives or partitions as long as you select appropriate options.
Without ado, let me show you how to reset Windows 10 PC from command prompt. The same command works in PowerShell too.
Note: Before resetting or refreshing, close all the applications and backup any application settings and files. This allows you to restore them following the reset or refresh process.
Reset PC from Command Prompt
Open the beginning menu.
Search for "cmd".
Right-click around the Command Prompt and select "Run as Administrator".
In the command prompt window, execute the below command. systemreset
Select "Remove everything" option within the prompt window.
Select "Just remove my files" option.
Click the "Reset" button.
Once you click the reset button, Windows will start the reset process. It takes between Twenty to thirty minutes to complete the resetting procedure. So, relax and wait. Once completed, Windows will automatically restart and you can begin using it. Of crouse, you have to install all of your favorite programs.
Refresh PC From Command Prompt
Open the beginning menu.
Search for "cmd".
Right-click around the Command Prompt and choose "Run as Administrator".
In the command prompt window, execute the below command. systemreset -cleanpc
Click on the "Next" button in the Fresh start
Windows can have a list of all the application it'll uninstall. With my case, Windows is uninstalling McAfee and a couple of other apps. Click on the "Next" button.
Click on the "Start" button within the "Let's get started" prompt.
That's it. Much like using the reset option, it can take between Twenty to thirty minutes to accomplish refreshing your Windows 10 PC. So, relax and wait until it's complete. Once complete, your system will automatically restart.
As you can see, it is quite easy to reset PC from command prompt on Windows 10.

Windows can be used by millions of people spanning several different timezones. It is only natural that Windows has options to alter the timezone whenever needed. Genreally, Windows sets the timezone automatically or asks you to select one while setting it up. If the timezone of your computer is not correct or you would like to set another timezone, it can be done pretty easily. Actually, there are several different ways to change the timezone in Windows 10. Without further ado, allow me to show you how.
Method #1 - Change Timezone in Settings
Settings app offers an good way to quickly and easily alter the timezone settings in Windows 10. All you need to do is choose the timezone from a drop-down menu.
1. First up, search for the Settings app in the start menu and open it. You can also make use of the keyboard shortcut Win + I or click on the "All Settings" button in the notification center.
2. Once the settings app continues to be opened, go to "Time and Language". This is when you can modify the system time, timezone, language, region, and speech.
3. Within the Time and Language page, click on the "Date and Time" tab appearing around the left panel. To create Windows 10 set the timezone automatically, toggle the switch under "Set the timezone automatically" to "On" position.
4. If you want to manually set the timezone, then toggle the switch under "Set the timezone automatically" to "Off" position. Next, pick a new timezone from the drop-down menu. In my case, I'm selecting Osaka, Tokyo timezone.
Once you pick a timezone from the drop-down menu, the Windows 10 time will change according to the timezone.
Method #2 - Change Timezone in Control Panel
You may also make use of the control panel to alter the timezone in Windows 10. Since we are using the traditional control panel, this method works in Windows 7 and Windows 8 too.
1. First, search for the user interface within the start menu and open it.
2. In the user interface, select "Large Icons" next to view by after which find and click on the "Date and Time" option.
3. Since we want to alter the timezone settings, click the "Change time zone" button under time zone section in the Time and date window.
4. Now, choose the timezone in the drop-down menu and click on the "Ok" button to use the timezone. Whenever you pick a timezone from the dropdown menu, Windows will show both current and new time and date.
5. Click on the "Ok" button in the primary window and you are done.
Much like using the Settings app, the changes are instant and you can begin to see the new time in the taskbar and elsewhere.
Method #3 - Change Timezone in Command Prompt
Windows 10 has a built-in tool timezone utility called "tzutil". That means that you should use command prompt commands to alter the timezone. This process is especially useful if you like to do things through the command prompt or you are coming up with a script.
1. Open the command prompt by looking it up within the start menu.
2. Within the command prompt, make use of the below command to see your current timezone in Windows. As you can tell, my current timezone is set to "Tokyo Standard Time".
tzutil /g
3. Since we are while using command prompt, before you alter the timezone, you need to know the timezone ID. Make use of the below command to see all of the available timezones in Windows.
tzutil /l
4. Find the timezone in the list, choose the timezone ID with your mouse and right-click on it to copy.
5. Once copied, make use of the below command while replacing "TimeZoneID" with the actual timezone ID to set the new timezone. You are able to right-click within the command prompt to paste the copied text.
tzutil /s "TimeZoneID"
Once you execute the command, the timezone is going to be changed instantly. If you want to, you can use the first command to determine the changed timezone.
Method #4 - Change Timezone in PowerShell
If you are more of a PowerShell guy, you can also use the PowerShell commands to change the timezone. As I said before, these commands are useful if you're creating your personal scripts.
1. Press Win + X to open the Power User menu after which select the "Windows PowerShell" option.
2. Within the PowerShell, execute the below command to determine all the available timezones in Windows 10. Much like using the command prompt, select the timezone ID of your liking using the mouse and right-click to repeat the ID.
tzutil /l
3. Now, execute the below command while replacing "TimeZoneID" with the one you copied. To paste the copied timezone ID, simply right-click within the PowerShell window.
4. To ensure the timezone, execute tzutil /g. You should begin to see the changed timezone.
That is all. As you can tell, you will find multiple ways to alter the timezone in Windows 10, Windows 7, and Windows 8. All of the methods are pretty easy and straightforward.

Though most never consider it, time is really a complicated thing for computers. When the time isn't correct, there are plenty of products that may go wrong and a lot of stuff that just don't work. If your Windows product is showing wrong here we are at whatever reason, here are a few simple yet effective steps you can follow to repair the wrong time issue as quickly as possible in Windows 10.
Before following the below steps, restart your system. Oftentimes, an easy restart will fix lots of problems, including incorrect time. Also, the below discussed fixes will work on Windows 7 and Windows 8 too.
1]. See if Windows Time Service is Running
The first and foremost thing you should do is check if the Windows time services are running. If the time services are not running or stopped, Windows may show the wrong time as it cannot update it accurately.
1. First, press Win + R, type services.msc and click on the "Ok" button. You can also look for exactly the same in the start menu.
2. Within the Services window, scroll down, find "Windows Time" service, right-click on it and choose "Properties".
3. The above action will open the Windows Time properties window. Here, if the services are not running, you will notice the "Start" button, click it. This can start the service. Next, select "Automatic" in the drop-down menu next to "Startup type" and then click the "Apply" and "Ok" buttons in order to save changes.
4. Restart the body to use the alterations.
2]. Sync Time with Internet Time Server in Windows
Windows has a neat little feature that lets you sync the time using the internet from accurate and reliable sources like time.windows.com or time.nist.gov. This selection is enabled by default. As such, once you connect with the internet, Windows will correct the time automatically. Under certain circumstances, this feature could easily get disabled. In that case, you have to let the internet time sync feature.
1. Look for Settings in the start menu and open the Settings app. You may also click the "All Settings" button obtainable in the notification center.
2. In the Settings app, go to "Time & Language -> Region". On the right panel, find the "Additional date, time & regional settings" link and then click it.
3. The above action will open the user interface window. Here, click the "Set the time and date" link under Date and Time section.
4. Within the Date and Time window, visit the "Internet Time" tab and click on the "Change settings" button.
5. Now, choose the "Synchronize by having an Internet time server" checkbox, select time.windows.com or time.nist.gov from the dropdown menu and then click the "Update now" button. As soon as you click on the button, the time is going to be updated. Click on the "Ok" button to save changes.
6. Close other windows.
3]. Check Windows TimeZone Settings
Once the timezone is not right, the time won't be correct. Generally, Windows can automatically detect the timezone and hang it. However, it can be wrong sometimes or you might've changed it unintentionally. Follow these quick steps to change timezone towards the proper location in Windows 10.
4]. Set Time Manually
If the automatic Windows time is wrong, you can set time manually too. It's very easy to do.
1. Look for Settings within the start menu and open the Settings app. You can also click on the "All Settings" button obtainable in the notification center.
2. Within the Settings app, visit "Time & Language -> Date & Time" page. Around the right-panel, toggle the switch under "Set time automatically" to the "Off" position. Next, click on the "Change" button under "Change date and time" section.
3. As soon as you click the button, another window will open. Here, make use of the drop-down menus to set time and date. Once you are satisfied, hit the "Change" button to confirm the alterations.
5]. Dual-booting with Linux? Add RealTimeIsUniversal DWORD Value to repair Wrong Time in Windows
If you're dual booting Windows and Linux, you very well may wish to add the "RealTimeIsUniversal" value for your Registry. This is because Windows and Linux treat time differently.
Windows assumes whatever time your motherboard tells it as being the real time. On the other hand, Linux treats time told by your motherboard as UTC (Greenwich Mean Time) and off-sets it based on your timezone. As you have seen, every time you boot into the other OS, time will be modified which leads to the wrong or incorrect time.
I've already covered an in depth guide on how you are able to fix Windows and Linux showing another time. Follow that guide and you ought to be good.
6]. Re-sync Windows Time with PowerShell
Under certain situations, Windows gets confused and loses time synchronization. In those situations, you can re-sync time utilizing a simple PowerShell command.
1. Open the start menu, search for "PowerShell", right click on it and select "Run as Administrator" option. This action will open the PowerShell with admin rights.
2. In the blank PowerShell window, execute the below command. You can simply copy the command and right-click within the PowerShell window to paste it.
w32tm /resync
As soon as you execute the command, you should begin to see the outputs "Sending resync command to local computer" and "The command completed successfully". Do keep in mind when there isn't any web connection, the command won't execute successfully.
7]. Scan Your System, Could Be Virus or Malware Infection
Certain viruses and malware can change time without your notice or mess with Windows in such a way that it shows the incorrect time. So, if the above methods didn't fix the Windows wrong time issue, you might want to scan your system for just about any infection. You should use Windows Defender or third-party antivirus software like Avast or AVG to carry out a full system scan (not quick scan). Additionally, also employ the Malwarebytes to execute a full scan.
For the way big your hard disk drive is and just how many files you've, the scan can take a couple of hours. So, if possible, start the virus scan before you go to rest. That way, it will be completed before you decide to awaken and also you don't have to lose any productive time. If the scan finds any threats, follow the appropriate steps shown in your antivirus application to clean the system and find out if it fixes the issue.
8]. Check CMOS Battery
Every computer, even most laptops, has something called CMOS battery on its motherboard. One of the primary functions of the battery is to help the system keep track of the time even when it is switched off. This is the reason why even when you turned off and unplugged the pc for weeks at any given time, it may show the right time after restarting.
If the CMOS battery is faulty, it can no longer help the motherboard keep track of time. Consequently, every time you start your system you will see the incorrect time.
By simply resetting or replacing the CMOS battery, you are able to solve the incorrect time issue. More often than not, your motherboard manual should retain the steps to reset or switch the CMOS battery. If not, you will find a number of YouTube tutorials showing how you can do-it-yourself. Follow any one of those guides and you ought to be good.
On laptops, it's really a bit tricky. Generally, you'll find the state repair manual for your specific laptop model on the web. If you're comfortable repairing your own electronics, follow the repair manual. Otherwise, I'd recommend you to go to the first-party or third-party repair shop center.
That's all.
